My name is Nino Ubezio, and I have been working as a 1st and 2nd AC for commercials and films for the past 3 years. Before that, I completed an apprenticeship as a Mediamatic, but I always knew that I was drawn to larger productions. Through an internship at Boutiq Films in Zurich and another at Zumirent in Bern, I found my way into the industry.
For me, this is much more than just a job. I have spent a significant amount of time working as a 2nd AC for various DOPs and 1st ACs, and since last year, I have been taking on more projects as a 1st AC as well. Until about a year ago, I was also involved in other activities, but now my focus is entirely on working as a 1st and 2nd AC.
